Now that our friends have seen the nursery painting they commissioned me to do for their baby girl Paige, I can share it here with all of my Freaky Fanatics.
The painting itself is a mix of what the Mommy-To-Be was looking for mixed with inspiration from the nursery bedding and a bit of my own whimsical magic. I added various shades of glitter accents throughout that make it sparkle like a fairy blessed it. Hard to photograph how fun it glistens but here are some shots after I completed it a few weeks ago..
I am really looking forward to seeing how it looks hanging in Paige’s nursery and will definitely post photos of how it all blends with the look they are going for once I get photos. Until then go take a little visit to my portfolio website and check out the Drippings page to see more things I have painted over the years.
Stay Spooky & Magical,
After Christmas, you are going to see a big change to my website Shop page as well as what you see for sale in my Etsy Shop. Moving forward Amazon will be my main storefront and Etsy will be used strictly for custom made to order items. You will still see my custom listings in my Etsy shop and you will still have the ability to contact me through Etsy Convos for additional commission pieces not listed.
I have decided to make this decision due to the new financial structure that Etsy is now putting on artisans that does not work for me production wise. So please be sure to bookmark my Amazon shop if you have not already done so. Once this change takes place I will be sure to post a follow-up reminder here on my blog for all you Freaky Fanatics who follow me and support what I do! Thank you for your understanding and patience during this change.
It’s that time of year again. Halloween is over (waaah) and before you know it Christmas will be upon us. So this is just a friendly reminder that if you want to order any of my art shirts for gift giving to keep in mind turnaround times. Each shirt is custom made to order. They average 2 weeks to produce and get shipped out once the order is placed in my Etsy or Amazon shops.
Living Dead Girl Nicole’s art shirts are Sid Haig approved! 🙂
I am also already getting orders in for custom Dead Girl Decay barrettes and inquiries for other custom creations, so if you are looking for me to handcraft you something unique for a gift, make sure to reach out to me ASAP so we can discuss your vision. Most custom items need time for ordering supplies and then additional time to actually make your vision come to life.
I finished up a commission piece over the weekend. This was for a return client who wanted me to make them another mini zombie head prop. But this time they wanted an undead pirate for a decorative ghost pirate ship they are putting together. So if you’re wondering why all of the rum and brains are gone.. it’s probably because of the Captain of the Undead here…
When you do a commission piece and you send photos of the finished creation to the client there is always that nervousness of wither you captured what they had envisioned. So I was very happy when I got a response that said…”I knew it would be awesome whatever you came up with but this is so much better than I imagined. So cool. Thank you so much.”
See more of my horror props on the Adopt The Undead and Remains pages of my portfolio site. And don’t forget to contact me if you are looking for an artist to bring your vision to life.
