Spellbinding: Spiritual Skullerfly Crystal Wreaths

So I know I mentioned in a past post that I was currently working on some creations that I started before everyone was forced to stay home due to the corona virus pandemic. I completed them during quarantine and have been going crazy not being able to share them with my Freaky Fanatics. However it was very important to me to get photos of them outside.

Ironically with the world in chaos I feel like everyone could use some extra healing right now so being able to get out to photograph them came at perfect timing. My husband and I took a trip to a secluded forest area and he helped me get some good shots of them for all of you. When they were hanging in the trees they looked so magical as though they were left their by fairies which is exactly what I had hoped for.

Handcrafted, blessed with incense and charged by the Strawberry Full Moon, here they are.. my Limited Edition Spiritual Skullerfly Crystal Wreaths!

These pre-made pieces of hanging art were handcrafted with a miniature wreath as a base with a ornament hook for hanging. They each feature a glittery Skullerfly coordinated with a matching rosary chain of crystal beads, a clear point natural crystal gemstone to draw in positive energy and adorned with matching feathers, faux flower petals and twigs from nature dipped in glitter.

Carnelian (Orange) to invoke Creativity – Sacral Chakra

Rose Quartz (Pink) to invoke Love – Heart Charka

Aventurine (Green) to invoke Prosperity – Heart Chakra

Lapis Lazuli (Blue) to invoke Confidence – Throat Chakra

I currently have pre-made only 1 of each of these. Buy the one that speaks to you the most and let it invoke and inspire you where ever you may display and hang it. Each one measuring approximately 5″ x 4″ and currently available while supplies last in my Etsy Shop!

Remains: Dad’s Very Own Yellow Submarine

As you have seen in past posts and on the Remains page of my portfolio site, my husband and I often team up to make custom wood signs for people. We had been wanting to make a special sign for my Dad for quite some time now. The fact that he has been putting together his art space in his new house inspired us to do it for Father’s Day.

See my Dad is not only an artist but has also influenced my rock music taste. One of his favorite things is the Beatles Yellow Submarine. So we made him his very own……..

He was pretty blown away by it and totally surprised when he opened it. Just what we were hoping for. I can’t wait to see how it looks hanging in his studio! Here is a little collage I made of the photos from Father’s Day…..

Backbone: Win My Handmade Creations At Trish’s Breast Cancer Benefit This Weekend!

From either personally knowing me or reading my posts it is obvious that breast cancer is something that has personally effected my life in a dramatic way. With my Mom passing away from the disease when I was 10 it has had a huge impact on me in ways I can not even begin to explain. Being 35 (the age she was when she was diagnosed), having a recent scare of my own and her birthday coming up this Saturday it is easy to say that the thought of breast cancer is pretty fresh in my mind these days.

However it is also on my mind because my friend Trish is fighting the same battle my Mom did. Just like her she is fighting this at a young age while raising raising 2 beautiful children. She continues to be an inspiration to everyone with her positive “I’m gonna kick this cancer’s ass” attitude!

When I heard they were having a benefit for her I had to find a way to help. One glance at the Back Bone page of my portfolio it’s pretty obvious that I enjoy using my artistic skills to help great causes. Especially after facing my own serious health scares and seeing how people pulled together to help me get through them. It’s scary enough to have something so serious effecting you physically and yet trying not to stress over the cost it all takes to get well. The help of others made a huge impact on my recovery. I urge you to come out and support this strong amazing woman and her family. From my own personal experience I can tell you that every bit counts!

With that I made a basket of my handmade creations that I am donating. It will be a part of the prizes raffled off this Sunday, July 24th at Evil Horse Brewery in Crete IL from 2- 5pm!
