Back Bone: It’s Giving Tuesday Let’s Give Back!

0

As you all know I love using my artistic talents to give back to causes that I am passionate about. There is a whole page dedicated to this on my website called Back Bone. Why do I call it that? Well one I love all things spooky (of course) and like fun creative ways to name the pages of my website. Most importantly I enjoy having other people’s backs.

One of the ways I  give “back” is by offering special, limited edition items in my Etsy shop. Customers have purchased such items and the proceeds have gone to the charity they were made for.

  • If you are looking for a wonderful gift idea that you can give to someone and tell them it helped someone else, these items are perfect.
  • If you want to spoil yourself without the guilt because it helped someone else, these items are perfect.
  • If you just want to help a great cause in a fun way, these items are perfect.

Well with today being “Giving Tuesday” I wanted to remind my followers that I do still have a few items left in my shop that can be purchased and a portion of your purchase will go to a great cause. So let’s GIVE BACK!

Back Bone: Kristin Bauer, the Amanda Foundation and my creations!

kristin-amandaWell this couldn’t come at better timing with the finale of True Blood and so much talk about helping others. I had reached out  to actress Kristin Bauer (who you all know I adore) a while back via her website in hopes to get in touch with her. I wanted to share the portrait I drew of her as Pam but also because I know she is highly active in fundraising efforts. I was hoping to team up with her the way I do with Linda Blair and her World Heart Foundation. If you are not aware, every time I sell a “Power Of Christ Compels You” art print or one of my dog inspired accessories a portion of the earnings goes to her foundation. So in my email to Kristin I told her I would like to do the same with my “Pam” True Blood items via my Etsy shop. Her people reached back out to me and told me that they loved the portrait and plan to share it with Kristin. They also think it’s wonderful that I would like to use my art to help a charity of her choice. She has chosen the Amanda Foundation out of Beverly Hills. A foundation she works closely with that rescues animals. I am very excited about her chose as you all know how much I love animals. So if you would like to help this cause and get something in return go to my Etsy Shop and purchase any of these Pam items and a portion of the sale will go to the Amanda Foundation! It’s that easy and that awesome! pam
