My cousin Patrick brought his girls, Juniper and Ruby to see my work in store at Closet Collectibles. He sent me this beautiful photo of them with my store display and it truly lifted my spirits! π»
I would like to take a moment to give Patrick a little shoutout as well…. for always supporting my work, always taking the time to like and share my art posts and for all the wonderful messages of feedback he sends to me whenever I share a new creation. With so much of my soul going into what I create it truly means the world to me to have this type of support. It also is so wonderful to see that he instills these values into his daughters to not only support family, but artists and small businesses like Closet Collectibles as well.
I will be participating in another artist auction at the @the_technicolor_auction_house! This month’s theme is 4/20 and inspired by the amazing, healing herb that is cannabis.πΏπ¨
The auction begins THIS Friday, April 1st at 7pm EST and ends Sunday April 4th at 7pm EST.
I will have my last Limited Edition Moffin Stash Box up for bidding! The rest have all sold out!
Items will continue to be posted up until auction day. When the auction begins you can comment on the posts to place your bids. See full rules here.
Please go follow the @the_technicolor_auction_house for item updates and like β€οΈ the items in the posts to show the artists that are participating some love.
You can also help by sharing this blog post to help spread the word.
On a side note: who would like to see me make more of these?
Exclusive as in this is another item that will not be available to purchase online but will only be available to buy in person at their store! A great way to get something unique, while shopping small, local and supporting an artist all at the same time.
This exclusive item is my Caged Cannibal Scary Fairies! They come freshly fed and ready for their new caretaker and can be hung up for display! A mix of my love for whimsy and horror all rolled into one creepy magical creation! You can see more photos on the Remains page of my portfolio website as well as a little video on Youtube.
While I was there I also re-stocked my sold out giclee art prints of my Spitting Image portraits and added some new one of a kind Dead Girl Decay barrettes to replace others that have sold and am already in the works of masterminding some more!
My husband Frank also shopped their wide range of horror figurines while I did my drop off. He picked up a They Live Rody Piper figure and the Flasher Gremlin figure we have been wanting to add to our collection.
In other words don’t waste your time at places like Spirit Halloween or big box stores for horror decor this spooky season. I for one witnessed Spirit Halloween’s selection and call it “same shit, different year”. Closet Collectibles offers way more unique items and supports their local artists! They also love to buy and trade for their non art related items. So if you are looking to get rid of something from your collection for something else this is the place is an all around win win! Not to mention Chris and Michelle are seriously the nicest folks you could do business with! Go show them some love and tell them Living Dead Girl Nicole sent ya!
