Freaky Fanatics: Jacob Loves His Choo Choos!

Almost 2 years ago I posted some photos of the paintings I did for my friends Kristin and Jesse who were having a baby boy. Jesse being a big train collector and also having a pet turtle I was quite inspired…

When Kristin set them up in the nursery she sent me a photo of them fully on display in baby Jacob’s room. I of course posted it to share with all of you because it made my day. Later on when I saw them in person hanging over his crib I was so happy to see how well they went with everything else in the nursery.

Well today baby Jacob is getting bigger and he is a lot more active at his age. So when I got this text from Kristin this morning it made me smile from ear to ear….

“Hi! Wanted to tell you, Jacob is big time into trains right now. Every morning and night he points to the pics you painted and says “Choo, Choo, turtle…” It’s so cute”

This is why I love using my talent to make hand made gifts. The hard work pays off when you get these types of reactions from people. Especially the little ones.

Thank you Kristin and little Jacob for making my day!

Freaky Fanatics: Owl Paintings On Display V.2

My cousin Patrick sent me this updated photo of his girls’ bedroom. He moved the owl paintings I did for them to a shelf and I am totally digging the way it looks. You may recall I painted these about 3 years ago. You can see them in these previous posts as well.

And of course this has been added to the awesome Freaky Fanatic Slideshow on my website! I love nothing more then photos like these showing the ways people are enjoying, sharing and wearing my work. So please continue to send them to me! I would love to feature your photos as well.
