Freaky Fanatics: Nellie’s Bridal Shower

2

This is another one of my special Freaky Fanatic posts that involves me gifting my art to one of my loved ones. This past weekend I had fun celebrating my cousin Nellie as a Bride To Be! She is getting married this October and her bridal shower was a lot of fun and very memorable.

Frank and I got her and Vince a cool floor lamp off their registry but I decided to make a little something special for the bride as well. I thought she would dig one of my Vintage Burlesque Dead Girl Decay Barrettes, so I made her one that I hope years from now will remind her of her special day….

As you can see from the look on her face that she really liked it…

Last but not least here is a photo of me (right) with my beautiful cousins at the shower….the Bride To Be Nellie (in the middle) and her sister Chelsea (left).

Dead Girl Decay: New Vintage!

0

I got my hands on some beautiful vintage brooches and am starting a new line of Dead Girl “Vintage” Decay Barrettes! These are for those of you that like vintage, burlesque, victorian, gothic, sparkly bling! These would even be perfect for a bride to be looking for something unique for their big day! No two of these barrettes in this line will ever be the same! Making them unique and one of a kind for any special event!

Here are the first three I have made so far and they are currently for sale in my Etsy shop! I thought I would start off by making some that went with the feel of the winter season!
