Spread the word by sharing this blog post! Well.. after you get everything you want first of corpse!
As promised I have completed another undead friend that will be joining my Two-Headed Bride and Evil Queen dolls at the upcoming Hardcore Hearse Club Show. This one, however, is quite the corpsified cutie in her pink floral dress, matching purse on gold chain, fancy sun hat, and pearl necklace.
You can’t help but smile looking at her. I also hope it makes you smile knowing you now have three chances of owning one of my limited edition dolls! Like the other two, this doll will first be available for purchase at my vending booth at the Hardcore Hearse Club show on June 15th. So anyone that comes out to the show will get first dibs! And like the others, she will not be duplicated making her a one-of-a-kind creepy creation!
What time is it Finn and Jake? It’s vendor prep time!! AKA you won’t see Nicole for a while because she will be cooped up in her art studio for the next few months ha ha.
That’s right I will be vending once again at our hearse club’s big annual hearse show! And of corpse, we will be bringing Frankenhearse to the show as well! As always, I will have special show pricing for people buying from me in person and one of a kind items made just for the show. All my newest portraits and drawings will be available for sale as prints as well as past art pieces you may have missed out on. Anything you are hoping to see at my booth? Comment away! And with that please save the date! I hope to see you creeps there!
After Christmas, you are going to see a big change to my website Shop page as well as what you see for sale in my Etsy Shop. Moving forward Amazon will be my main storefront and Etsy will be used strictly for custom made to order items. You will still see my custom listings in my Etsy shop and you will still have the ability to contact me through Etsy Convos for additional commission pieces not listed.
I have decided to make this decision due to the new financial structure that Etsy is now putting on artisans that does not work for me production wise. So please be sure to bookmark my Amazon shop if you have not already done so. Once this change takes place I will be sure to post a follow-up reminder here on my blog for all you Freaky Fanatics who follow me and support what I do! Thank you for your understanding and patience during this change.
The Hardcore Hearse Club’s 5th Annual Hearse show is just around the corner! Not only will we have Frankenhearse on display, but I will be vending my artwork again as well!
Each year I mark down my prices for in-person purchases at this event! So if you ever wanted to purchase from me this is the best time to stock up and save! Creep up your home or wardrobe or get ready for Halloween! All while having a ghoulishly good time doing it!
Order forms will be available for one of a kind custom orders. This is a great time to talk to me in person about making you a one of a kind creation. This includes Adopt The Undead Zombie props, Custom Dead Girl Decay Accessories and Ghoulish Garments! I will also have some unique creations not currently for sale online! They will be available at this event only. They will only be up for sale online if they do not sell at this event. So come get first dibs!
I saw this photo posted on Instagram by YuvaKala, a fellow artisan who I have purchased from in the past. It hit home with me because it holds so much truth…
Every time I get an order from my Amazon or Etsyshops I literally get giddy with excitement. Yes, the benefits of having that little bit of extra income are great, but that is not why we dance or get giddy. It’s knowing that something we created and put our time, heart and soul into was admired by someone so much, that they actually spent their hard earned money on it. We know what it’s like to struggle and want to have cool things. So if our creations are those cool things, it literally blows our minds. So the next time you debate buying something from an artist that was handcrafted or going with that thing mass produced item that everyone else has, remember that for every purchase you make with us artsy folks, someone is doing a happy dance!
And to all of my Freaky Fanatics who have purchased from me in the past and in the future, thank you for keeping me giddy and dancing! You have no idea how grateful I am to have all of you supporting what I love to do.
For those of you that don’t know her, Kelly Doty is an extremely talented tattoo artist who recently was a finalist on Ink Masters. As a tattoo enthusiast and “collector” I have watched Ink Masters since the very first episode. But it wasn’t until Kelly was on the show that I was so awed by someone’s work that I anticipated every week so I could root for her. I won’t even lie.. when she didn’t win I was bitter. I just really thought she deserved the title and find her work to be incredible. So when I found out she was going to be at the con I decided to make her one of my Dead Girl Skullerfly Decay Barrettes… completely inspired by her.
When I met her I told her I made her something and when I told her it was a barrette she said “Girl you are speaking my language” and dug into the gift bag. She loved it and ripped the rose out of her hair.. threw it to the side and said “stupid rose” and immediately put my barrette in it’s place ha ha. She was an absolute delight to talk to and when I told her I loved her work she pointed at her new barrette and said “I love your work”. When I said goodbye and thanked her for rocking my barrette right away she said “try to stop me from wearing it” ha ha ha. Here is the photo a friend at her booth took of us during our meeting..
Frank got the netherworld priest added to his wrist as a part of his Beetlejuice sleeve and I got my Neo Traditional style Captain Spaulding skull on my calf next to my Baby Firefly pinup. These pics were taken right after each piece was finished. He did an amazing job on both of them and we couldn’t be happier with them.
On top of it Dave also gave us this amazing art piece he had on display at the show. It will definitely be getting framed and hung up in our tomb sweet tomb!
