Zombies, Pirates and Halloween fun all for a great cause!

As mentioned in my previous post, I have been contacted by the Los Angeles Costume Swap who was interested in my artwork. They were looking for unique prizes for this years event and I am honored they were interested in using my work and can be a part of it all the way in Illinois!
They are having a pirate theme as well as a GMO zombie walk. Everything will be to support recycling Halloween costumes. Not only will this promote a greener Halloween but it helps those in need be able to celebrate. The zombie walk is also to bring awareness to the GMO proposition.
Between my love for pirates, zombies and Halloween, my own medical issues that involve strict dieting and alot of label reading and my passion to help a great cause, who better to ask then yours truely!
The donation is going in the mail with this weeks orders.
1 Zombie Brains and Beauty Pin Up Girl Wall Hanging

1 Teal and Purple Skull & Crossbone Dead Girl Pirate Decay barrette
with signed thank you post card and large Dead Girl Decay merch sticker

Proud to support a green Halloween!!

I am excited to announce that I was contacted by Alivia Hunter from the Los Angeles Costume Swap about my art. She was looking for the perfect prize for their adult zombie costume contest!! After reading about their organization and learning the great things they do I was honored to know they were interested in my work and am happy to donate to their wonderful cause!!
The winner of their GMO Zombie Contest will win…
1 Pin Up Girl Zombie Wall Hanging made by yours truly!

And to contribute to the Pirates Vs Zombies theme I am also donating this Dead Girl Decay Skulls and Crossbones Barrette..

The Los Angles Costume Swap allows kids and adults a chance to swap new-to-them costumes — saving money and the environment — instead of buying new ones that often end up in landfills.

The GMO zombie march is part of the activities for Los Angeles Costume Swap and National Costume Swap Day at Mar Vista Farmers Market in California on October 14th.

It is set to bring awareness to California Right to Know GMO labeling initiative Prop 37 which will appear on voter ballots for the November 6th elections. If passed, Prop. 37 would make California the first state in the U.S. to require labeling of most foods made with genetically modified organisms — those given specific changes to their DNA through genetic engineering techniques.

National Costume Swap Day™ was created by Corey Colwell-Lipson from Green Halloween® and happens every October. It is THE day, all over the U.S. and Canada, that calls on communities to improve Halloween by being healthier, safer and Greener.

Stay Spooky!
