Dead Girl Decay: Barrettes for Lauren and Baby Mia

This weekend was a busy but eventful one. Sunday was our cousin’s baby shower. When I found out they were having a girl I was super stoked to get crafting away on gifts for baby Mia. I was inspired by things that I knew Lauren really liked.

This included a set of my Mummy & Me (matching for Mother and Daughter) Sugar Skull barrettes. I knew they were doing the baby’s nursery in lavendar so I wanted to incorporate that special color in the set. Not only symbolic but when not in use she can hang them as decor in the room if she wants to. I also know how much Lauren loves Hello Kitty. So I couldn’t help but make a leopard print Hello Kitty barrette for baby Mia as well!

Lauren really loved them and told me she can’t wait until Mia is here to share them with her.
